I've lived a "normal" life. Only once have I
Veered into the forbidden unknown...
A night of pleasure. Just one.
I didn't use my knowledge to save me, even though
Deep inside I knew, body screaming "Yes!", mind screaming "No!"
Soon I would discover the consequences of my mistake...
Disease consumes my young body, so full of potential.
Eroding me from the inside out
All the while I ask myself "Why?"
Too late now to wonder
How my life could have been, had I only used protection...
